I want to show you
today some phrases to express that you're busy.
Let's begin!
The word for busy is:
ocupado (oh-coo-pah-doh)
*The word ocupado is the masculine. The femenine form
is Ocupada. If you're a girl, use ocupada; if you're a
boy, use ocupado.
There is also:
atareado (ah-tah-reh-ah-doh) which means busy, or rushed
*The femenine is atareada.
Estoy ocupado - I'm
busy
Etoy atareado
(or atareada, in femenine) - I'm busy; I'm rushed
You can add the
following words to stress your statement:
Estoy bien atareado -
I'm very busy
Estoy tan ocupado - I'm so busy
Estoy súper ocupada - I'm super busy
Estoy muy atareada -
I'm very busy. Or, I'm too busy
Estoy demasiado ocupado - I'm too busy
